1. Information We Collect

SyncPad is designed to be a frictionless, privacy-first utility. We do not require account creation, email addresses, or any personal identification. Information is processed solely for the purpose of cross-device synchronization.

• Synced Content: Any text or files you upload for synchronization.
• Session Metadata: Temporary unique identifiers (Sync Codes) used to link your devices.

2. Data Storage & Expiration

To ensure security and minimize our footprint, all data handled by SyncPad is temporary:

• Sync Codes: Valid for exactly 10 minutes from generation. After expiration, the code is purged.
• File Assets: Stored on our secure servers for a maximum of 24 hours. After this period, files are irrevocably deleted.

3. AI Processing & OCR

Our "Scan Text" and "AI Enhance" features utilize the Google Gemini 2.5 Flash API. When you capture an image or request text enhancement:

• Data is sent securely to Google's infrastructure for processing.
• Your data is NOT used by us to train any AI models.
• Processing is ephemeral and used only to return extracted or enhanced text to your session.

4. Security

We implement end-to-end encryption for data in transit. Your content is protected by industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols between your device and our servers, and then between our servers and the receiving device.
